Your problem is you're creeping these women out.
If you move your head when you look in your rearview, that's creepy... you're calling unnecessary attention to yourself.
Likewise with "my eyes dart to the sideview mirror"... I'm guessing you moved more than your eyes.
In the gas station pay line, IMO, it's wierd that you think you have to "move a little to the side and look at her sideways
to make sure she is not blocking the aisle."
What's up with that? If somebody walked in, it's her responsibility to move, isn't it?
