Some bold LOST predictions

1) Sayid killed "young Ben" - or the Oceanic Six stop "the Purge" from happening - and created an alternate timeline.
When the Ajira flight crashes on the "little island" in 2007, Frank and his co-pilot try to radio for help, but they hear "the Numbers" being broadcast instead... but wait, we know that Danielle Rousseau replaced "the Numbers" broadcast with her own sometime in the early 1980s. Hmm. Also, when Sun goes back to the DHARMA camp, it still has the DHARMA signs up all over the place, and looks disused. As we know the Others took down all the DHARMA stuff when they moved in after "the Purge". It's also possible that Daniel Farraday is somehow connected to this alternate timeline's creation... after all, where the cluck is he?

2) "The Incident" has something to do with the Swan Station/the Button, the hydrogen bomb, AND why women can't give birth on the Island.
Women can give birth without a problem in 1977 - the year that the Swan Station is built - but not in 2004? And the Others are clueless as to why? This leads me to believe that the DHARMA Initiative did something bad that connects all three. Also connected is probably the "four-toed statue," which is very likely Tawaret, the Egyptian goddess of Fertility.

3) Pushing "the Button" is what keeps women from giving birth on the Island.
See above. Plus, in Season Two, Walt appeared to Shannon; his "backwards speech" said, "don't push the button, the button is bad." Hmm.

4) Jack will die in the last episode of Season Six.
It only makes sense, from a literary perspective. The show began with a close up of Jack's eye as he woke up after the crash of flight 815 - a symbolic birth. It makes perfect sense that the show's last episode will end with his death. My prediction is that Jack must die so that Sawyer and Kate can live. This also connects to my theory that Jack Shephard, John Locke, and James "Sawyer" Ford/LeFleur are meant to represent the Holy Trinity; after all, they're all "J" names (Jehovah/Jesus), they all have daddy issues, and they're all leaders - albeit of the three different groups on the Island (the Survivors, the Others, and the DHARMA Initiative, respectively). Jack's last name is even Shephard, for J's sake! And his father's name is Christian.

5) Aaron is Jacob.
Following the above prediction, it really looks like Christian Shephard, the father of Jack and Claire, is pulling some strings. If Jack does die in the final episode, this would liken Christian to Abraham, whom God commanded must sacrifice his son (in this case, Jack). Abraham's grandson is Jacob; Christian's grandson is Aaron.

Talk amongst yourselves.
