Cab - I converted my Datsun Roadster to electronic igntion and said adios to the Hitachi points and then I rebuilt the SU carbs, my car will cruise all day at 80mp/h and that is the 1.6L, these two things will transform any running issues especially bacfiring and hesitation. Does you know if you neighbor's car is the 1.6 or the 2.0L?
