You sure you live in L.A.? The only times traffic is 'zipping along' in my L.A. is before 6AM and after 8:30PM, sometimes.... My 10 mile commute (405) is 10 minutes before 6AM, but 45-60 minutes at 6 PM, no matter which way I go. Weekends aren't much better, although there is clearly less traffic now that the economy is in shambles.
