It'll work. Like DasBoot says, check the polarity. The 2a adaptor is capable of delivering 2 amps of current should you need it, whereas the 0.7a adaptor is capable of delivering 0.7 amps of current. Your router will never need more than 0.7 amps of current since that is what was supplied with it, but it won't hurt anything.
Consider the battery in your car, it can deliver 500 Amps let's say, but it doesn't hurt the little light bulb which only needs 0.5 amps.
