I use one in my dash just above the tacho for a quick visual reference when racing.
I have packaged my spare into a custom display (with a carbon fiber face plate), with a red light that comes on with the brakes and a green light that comes on at Wide Open Throttle (WOT). When placed in my video camera's field of view, I can easily see when I have brakes on, and at what RPM/track position I achieve WOT.
Buyer can use it as configured as a custom display (as shown) or can easily remove the shift light and position it in a desired location.
