911/930's would get smoked by a funny car of today...formula 1 cars as well. But that's not what they were built for.
I'd guess a F-1 car would be in the 8 second bracket...but I could be wrong.
A top fuel dragster is now well under 4 seconds from a standing start..
Lets say a top fuel dragster was standing still at the start line, and he took off the instant you passed that line at 150 MPH. He'd catch and pass you before you reached the finish line, a mere 1320 feet away.
