My wife came home this afternoon to find that the largest piece of glass in our shower enclosure had shattered. Glad neither of us was in there when it happened. Only thing I can figure is that I must have stressed this piece when I had the enclosure apart a few weeks ago to recaulk everything. I had trouble getting this piece out and ended up lifting it up over my head to get it out of the frame. I remember thinking it was a little crazy to have such a large chunk of glass above me as I held the lower part. In case you're wondering, a 4x5 piece of glass will fit comfortably in a 5 gallon bucket after shattering.
