In Jr high I made the switch from Kiss and the Who to Punk: The Clash, Ramones, Sex Pistols, etc and I had the first two Devo records.
In 1979 they came to Boston and a bunch of my buddies snuck out to town to see them. I tried and my parents caught me so I had to stay home. I was 13 at the time and to this day I hold it against my parents for not letting me go to see a "pre-Whip-it" Devo show.
