Our burban cops round here will almost always escort us, they seem to like the 'action' since they probably don't get much excitement.

Philly cops couldn't be bothered. They have plenty of excitement of their own...

I remember one time when they had operation "Sunrise" going on, where they had cordoned off entire sections of the city and put cops at barriers completely cutting off all traffic flow in or out of these areas we were stopped going into one of these checkpoints and grilled.

I asked the cop if she wanted to come in with us, her response was along the lines of "yeah right, we don't get paid enough for that."
