Realistically, I will probably end up with a 23-27ft sailboat lol... but who knows, if I ever get lucky, I wouldn't mind dropping the hammer on an old research vessel or an older commercial vessel of some sort.... the main factor in owning such a large vessel would be the enormous amount of upkeep... even if I were in Bill Gate's shoes financially, it would be difficult for me mentally to justify having the vessel and the expenses associated with it.... another down side is having to hire a crew... it would be impossible to manage such a beast single hand idly, and I for one like the idea of driving the ship naked every once in a while, while shouting out things indiscriminately like "Thar she blows on the port side Mateys" without having to hear the snickers from the crew..
