Actually, we do have a right to have firearms. Your local Chief Constable has to find a reason not to give you a gun license if you have a use for one, not the other way round. Unless you have a criminal record or mental problems they can't stop you having at least a shotgun. About 500,000 peoples shoot regularly in the UK. You'd be very surprised who has guns in their house.
