I found thousands of dollars worth of stuff one day in the US Coast Guard dumpster. A cutter was being reassigned to another location and they just threw away all the stuff that they didn't want to carry on board the cutter. Tools, pumps, engine parts, band-it tools, gear/wheel pullers etc... Filled up the back of my pick-up truck!
