Why did you add the fluid? Were you seeing a drop? It should be a closed system as you know. Did you put in the right fluid? Silly questions, but just covering the basics. Is the engagement point slowly moving towards the firewall or has it stopped migrating? If you're not seeing liquid, check to make sure the adjustment bar behind the pedal is secure to the master cylinder. As for the pressure plate symptoms, someone else can better answer that one.
