I'm a little confused.

The cold start valve and the accumulator aren't hooked up? Do you mean there isn't a fuel line between the accumulator, the cold start valve and the fuel distributor?

If that's the case, then yes, you'll have problems with hot starts, and probably also with cold starts. There should be a T shaped fuel line that connects the accum. cold start valve, and fuel distributor (I've recently replaced mine).

Where is the harness wire cut? At the cold start valve?
