I have a frigidare gas cook top that has performed flawlessly. I have frigidare electric wall ovens that are fine.The big decision is whether you want a gas cooktop and an electric oven or a gas oven. I did a lot of research before I selected frigidare...it consistently had much higher ratings from a variety of sources than much more expensive rangres (even $5K+ Vikings).
This gas/gas model was top ranked by Goodhousekeeping last year over 10-15 models more expensive. At about $1700 I think its the best for the buck.
