My buddies and I were out of work 15 years ago and were trying to buy a bar in town. Well it fell through about 3 different times and I finally got a job so I told them I was out. A few months later they bought the business and realestete for $80K in a bank auction. The place now does $500K a year in business and the building alone is worth over a million. They ended up buying two more places and make a mint. I have the same but different miserable high tech job....
My old man had it worse. His first car when he got a job out of college was a '55 Speedster that he sold for a TR3 then sold that for a VW Beetle when he finally had kids. Along the way two of his ski buddies bought houses in Aspen for $3K each. He thought it was too much $$ at the time.........
