Ins cos tend to be that way. They are somewhat diligent at the moment, but move on when the settlement is achieved. In this case, they paid for a car, no more, no less. I'll bet they stand on that.

Meanwhile, an incident that happened a year and a half ago is being dragged out here. Even though the OP started this, if things get bad for him now as a result of this thread, that could bring about a really interesting situation.

Who can prove any of this is accurate? I know I'd be looking into the other side of things and looking for slander. No, that's not right, but I'm a self preservationist and I will do what I have to in order to preserve.

Don't misconstrue what I'm saying. I'm not defending anyone or any action. But, if the shoe ever falls on the other foot and it's me as the subject, I'll counter with a legion of attorneys if I can afford them.

That's essentially what I think of threads like this. I have no respect for this being revived.
