My brother now lives in NJ, and brought down his girlfriend from NY (near the city) for Easter. She said she'd never been to Washington, DC (but somehow had been to Williamsburg, VA). Anyway, I was surprised and made fun of her the whole weekend.

So have you ever been to DC, and if not, why not?

I guess I'm jaded having grown up here in the shadow of the city and rolling in every day or work. I actually see the Capitol every day. Which I guess is strange given this big country.
