Hi Guys,I have an 83SC that I had to open up this past winter, head studs. While in the motor I went with the web cams 20/21,SSI's,and a Bursch, love the sound. While the valve job was being done I also "boat-tails" the intake stem area.Luckily I also did some suspention upgrades to make the added power more fun to drive. My mechanic said about 245 h.p. @ flywheel.I'm gonna dyno it soon so I'll post "rear wheel #'s.Drivability, the car starts pulling sooner, around 3grand,it pulls very hard through 7 grand, the cams make power up to about 7400r.p.m. per web cams. The thing I like is the rpm's spin up really quick and pull much further up the tach,I've taken 2nd gear to over 70mph.Around town it'll want to downshift a little earlly,a bit of overlap start to come on at low rpm's.The cams can take more fuel so 78-79 inj set ups work best,I'm told 930 even better. All in all the car feel's more like what I wanted out of the 911 driving experience.
