my 87 930 has full charley bars front and rear and has always been a great stiff and predictable handler.

last week i was driving and heard a cracking sound. it made noise periodically or only when puling into my drive way where the roll stiffness of my car always lifts the front inside wheel...like many stiff 911's have always done.

i finally located the strange sound! it seems that the pass side rear mounting bracket for the sway bar has broken. the sway bar bolts to the car underbody w/ 4 bolts...one of them has broken loose. the bolt is in tact but the actual bracket has broken.

have you all ever encountered this problem? what do i do and who can help me re-fab this part in the charlotte, nc area?
