Manheim High Line can be a pretty enjoyable time. Had a dealer friend take me in many moons to pick up BMW 540 and there were interesting vehicles aplenty as you noted.
The cool part was I got to bid on the car I ultimately purchased. It was cool to do the subtle nod in order to place your bid. I felt like I was at a high end art auction. Picked up the 540 and enjoyed it for 6 years before I traded it. Fun experience.
