It might be based on competition. Technically I don't think a bachelors is required, but you'll be at the bottom of the stack. I'm sure it's more enticing to be a cop in KS than Philly, less crackheads shooting at you.

The wife's aunt and uncle in question are taking a month vacation this summer. Pretty sure they won't be working. Yep, being a teacher is rough.
