I have a late model but my idler bolt is far beefier than that one. You sure it's the right one? Or maybe it's just the angle of your picture....
Make sure you tighten down the two bolts that hold the back plastic cover on, the ones that go into the oil pump. If you forget, there's no way to tighten them with all the belts in place.
