Silly PO, why'd you mess with the rims?
Looking behind the gas fill lid, there's a sticker with the wheels and tires that are "supposed" to be on the car. The sticker says... "Front: 205/55 VR 16" and Rear " 225/50 VR 16".
I'm assuming those original rims were phone dials, but I don't know that for sure.
On the car now is a set of cookies that are 15". All 4 tires are 225/60 R15.
The rears are fine, but the fronts rub a little when hitting a significant depression in the road or cornering at a fast speed... and let's be honest, that's one of the funnest things to do with these cars.
So, if I were to keep these rims, what would be a comparable tire size to match the stance and width of what the car originally came with?
Thanks in advance, and sorry for the 3rd "tire" thread of the day.
