Goaltender is the most important position in team sports.
I've seen the Beezer stop Flyers Legion of Doom onslaughts in a playoff series that were utterly overwhelming. He single handedly delivered the Panthers a series win vs the Flyers in the prime of that teams era. He was so phenomenal that Bobby Clarke traded for him as soon as he was available.
And i do remember Bernie Parent playing too. I've seen games where the flyers of that era were completely and totally outplayed but Parent would have none of the other team scoring.
