I've been thinking about this problem as well. Both times I went to the track in the early AM I held the cup of coffee between my legs. Fortunately I 'm done having children.

Two ideas: I've seen the nice folding cupholder, and was thinking of attaching it to the back of the heater control unit. That way it is out of sight and ultimately, removable.

Back when I spent most my day in a car, I had this gorilla sized cupholder (for big gulps) that sat right on the floor. Bottom adhered to the carpet fairly well, and it adjusted to a number of different sized cups. Given the cornering performance of the company car (Tarus), spillage was not an issue.

Pelican has a cupholder that mounts under the dash, but if I recall it was way too expensive for me.

Let us know what you come up with...

Don
