Garage
I believe I paid $5.50 sq/ft installed. The second time they visited (for the bbq) the price went up to $7 sq/ft. The labor cost for paver install is higher than concrete. Try to find a smaller independent contractor for the job. I had a couple quotes from the "big" guys (Systems Paving) that were in the $14 sq/ft range. They would of course immediately knock off $2 sq/ft cause I was such a cool dude...

The bbq island countertop is actually a poured-in-place concrete (that part I hired out -- difficult work - along with the Palapa install). I DIY the design/layout, foundation, concrete blocks, electrical and gas hookup, concrete stain, bbq install, and the final stone veneer. I used a two color (amber and walnut) acid stain on the top and then finished with a clear.

I'm going to do the exact same stain/clear treatment to my garage floor instead of tile or epoxy paint.
