Network guys? Linksys router problem
I have a Linksys WTR54G v2 wireless router that I'm having an issue with lately. I have the newest firmware for quite a while now. This problem recently started. People on the Linksys forum cannot help fix.
At random, the router will switch over to Local Access Only mode, and not allow access to teh intarwebz. It does this spontaneously.
I've spoke to Linksys tech, and they had he change some settings, but it didn't help. It's happened several times since then.
Connected by cable to the router in an Xbox 360, PS3, and a laptop via wireless.
The router is secured with a network name and password. WPA Personal, Network Mode is Mixed, and SSID Broadcast is enabled. Firewall is enabled as well.
Any ideas on how to stop this from happening? It's getting rather bothersome.
I'm currently connected to the router twice, oddly, via wireless. Name and Name2 both appear.....
