Worth following the news on the swine flu outbreak in Mexico City. Suspected in 60-70 deaths so far there, authorities are closing schools, bars, public gatherings, etc and people are staying home and wearing face masks. Several cases detected in the US, including NY KS TX CA, though milder ones and no fatalities, in some cases not confirmed to be same flu strain. Apparently treatable with existing antiviral medications, but current flu vaccines not effective Talk of a potential pandemic. As situation develops, post any interesting followups here, please.
