Update:

Swelling in Tims head stopped and they removed the shunt.

They backed off the meds and he is semi conscious.

Aware of visitors.

Is able to communicate a bit, indicated to his wife that "he f'd up and knows he's in the doghouse"

Appears he is stable enough that they are planning on how to deal with the rest of his injuries.

Looks promising but he still has a long road.
