Kris is a great talent but he bores me. I can't imagine seeing him in anything larger than a couple of thousand seat theatre. I think his future is in producing and writing. He can still have a performing career but he strikes me more as a Tom Waits, T-Bone Burnet kind of talent.
Danny was one of my top 3 from the beginning but he is starting to remind me of Taylor Hicks, he's got a limit to what he can do and so far as I can tell does not have the same musical skill set as Kris.

+1001 on all counts.
And it baffles me that someone could call Lambert's upper register "shrill." o.O
The man is practically pitch perfect at all times. Not once has a judge criticized a single note he has sang the entire season. How
could they? His notes are almost all perfect. Even when he does have an off-note, the rest of the performance so overwhelms it that it's not even significant.
Lambert is miles ahead in the voting(when the itunes download ratings were accidentally listed last week on the site that became obvious- he has more than 2x the downloads of anyone else on the show), it sounds to me like some people are just haing because their personal favorite is soon to fall. This happens at this stage every year. These sorts of comments are par for the course.
There are people that didn't like Robert Plant, or Freddie Mercury or Steven Tyler too, so i'm not surprised i guess.
Danny is just a growed up version of Adam Archuletta from last year. Every song he sings sounds the same, he tries to make it all fit into that gospelly thing he does. Whatever it is, it still sounds like gospel.
Lambert OTH has done
actual disco(play that funky music), blues/soul(last night), industrial/rock(born to be wild), acid rock(ring of fire), motown(tracks of my tears), Pop(black and white) and all of it sounded unique and different. I think he's the greatest that show's seen since Kelly Clarkson. He transcends genres, and THAT is the true test of a great performer IMO.
