I didn't mention Lambert. I did mention there are performers who display their technical virtuousity in lieu of making an emotional connection with the audience. From what I understand, Lambert's Frank Sinatra-type song interpretation - in falsetto wasn't as close to the mark as the other contestants - he with the claimed wide vocal range. If Lambert had wide-range vocal chops, why would he not display them as requested?
