oh yeah i got remingtons number to give them yer serial number and they can give you date of manufacture if ya got an old one. first 870 express produced from what i see is 1987. will see when i call them. the number is: 1 800 243-9700.
i even registered mine online fer giggles. maybe i'll get a remington super secret decoder ring!
