There were police cars in front, followed by a lone bagpiper. Some distance behind the piper was a state police honor guard, and behind them groups of people walking. Many of the people were carrying small framed portraits, but of different people; I honestly don't know what the procession was about. Perhaps a memorial for fallen police officers?

very cool, nice to see Anzac day commemorated outside of Austaliasia/Turkey/ commonwealth country.
myself and my g/f joined a small group of RNZAF and one RNZN in Rarotonga (Cook Islands) for Anzac Day and a bit of a holiday this year.
This is us on our scooter. we had to ride before sunrise in the rain with no helmets to the dawn service in our best uniform. was an interesting experience!
