So I asked the guy "Whats up with the buggy?" He say's he collects them and brought this in to my neighbor to see if it would run. It's been in his family forever but hadn't seen the light of day since before he could remember. I asked him 'bout the Manson connection. He say's that Manson liked to steal vw buggies back in the day and even if there were some connection to this specific buggy it would be a mute point as there wouldn't be a paper trail or any documentation to support the claim. He claims that this buggy was stolen many years back and was recovered in the area that Manson occupied with his followers. Rumors...............
