Not the Onion: Someone PLEASE Give Clyde a Sense of Humor for his Birthday
April 30, 2009
Austin, Texas

This is amazing and I’m still not 100% that it’s sincere and this guy’s not pulling my chain. But, sadly, these are the kinds of kooks you get when you’re a corporate celebrity, like me.

In reference to the USA Today article about CEOs and their dogs, we received the following email from the S3 website. My quote was that dogs would love you even if your $50b Ponzi scheme were discovered.

I left off Clyde’s last name and phone number:

Jack Holt was an idiot for telling USA Today
his dog would love him even if he was
running a ponzi scheme. Tell Mr. Holt that
dogs are too stupid to know what a Ponzi
scheme IS! Dogs are too stupid to fathom
money, culture, ethics, or life itself.

What terrible logic, praising an animal for
being so stupid it “loves” you no matter what.
Hitler had a dog too. What does that day
about Hitler’s dog? Dogs are blind followers.
Dogs are pathetic!

Did you say, “wow” to yourself?
