You guys were right. It was the new coil.

Initially I thought that the inside contact on the coil was broken.



Upon further examination I found that it wasn't broken. Instead some of the orange plastic must have shaved off when the plug was mated to the coil.



Do you all think that this "shaving" was enough to cause the problem or should I send the coil back? I suppose I could test the new coil again.
