The most common cause of laser alarms, I've found, is the adaptive cruise control (laser-based, not microwave) of cars such as a variety of Lexuses. Took me awhile to figure this out ("Where the hell is the cop in the middle of this desert???"), but I finally realize that I was just passed, opposite-direction, by a LS430 or whatever. Ron, could it be that there's a Lexus in the vicinity when your laser alarm goes off?
