The DME relay has two relays inside it. You need to verify the power signal(s) coming into the relay.

Pull the DME relay and check power at these pins:

Pin #30 - constant 12V power from battery
Pin #86 - 12V signal from key switch "on" position

You need to verify power at these two pins first. Pin #86 (+) latches the first relay that connects the constant power from Pin #30 to Pin #87 which sends the 12V power signal to the DME.

If your power signal from your key switch is intermittant then the the power supply to the DME will be inconsistant. The second relay is responsible for providing power to whatever is listed under fuse #34 - fuel pump, oxygen sensor ect.
