Biggest issue with all iPhone GPS based lap timers will be the poor cycle time of the GPS unit. Wish somone would do something to allow a blue tooth connection to an external GPS reciever that has better cycles. I have seen smart phone apps that work well data logging software and an external bluetooth GPS reciver as well.
