Mine was a "piece of cake". Took a "prophylactic" antibiotic for a few days before and after. Drove myself 30 miles to the hospital, was prepped with a local, doc did about 10 or 12 "punches", the sensation and sound were an odd combination but more of a mental anticipation issue than pain. Got dressed, read a magazine for an hour, left and got in my BMW (manual) and drove home alone. No bleeding or post procedure pain of any significance. Good luck.
