I recall looking at gullwing prices in a copy of Hemmings Motor News a while back, and there were maybe 1 or 2 genuine gullwings listed and maybe 6-7 replicas. The replicas had asking prices which were (if memory serves) only about 20-30% lower than the real deal. It was definitely a head-scratcher... can you imagine if a Beck 550 Spyder cost 80% of the price of a real 550 Spyder?
