And then there's you....

Perhaps youre just overly attatched and protective of your deeply flawed italian toy.

It's perfectly understandable, and i'm glad you liked yours. But you certainly don't seem very objective when your glowing review is weighed against the body of evidence. However next time it comes up, i'll be sure to mention that i know a dude that said the issues are overhyped. Your opinion goes into the mix.

And really, correcting me on spelling errors? Anal retentive much? Or are ya just a dick? Sorry, spell check doesn't work properly on Opera. Shrug.

LOL.

PS: The Countach's were known for overheating in heavy urban traffic. Ive lived in oklahoma, there sure isnt much of that there. At any rate this thread had now exceeded my threshold for caring. The last word is yours if you wish it.

Why thank you, don't mind if I do.

I guess the point I was trying to make is this: Brief drives in a car don't tell you much. It takes a long time to get to know a car. None of the road testers ever lived with one of these for more than a few hundred miles. I've read the same tests you have. Maybe you should go back and reread a few of them. Just like the old adage that every 911 is an oversteering pig, or every 928 is an electrical nightmare waiting to happen, some things get repeated over and over and there's really not much truth in it.

Some things are just not disputable. My car never got hot. Period. End of story. I suppose a Countach could overheat, if the idiot that owned it never bled the air out of the cooling system, or it had some other fault. Not the car's problem. By the way, I'm guessing you lived for a time at any Army base here. Near Lawton? Hardly a large metro area, even for Oklahoma, so I guess you'll just have to take my word for the fact that we do have traffic in the bigger cities. I've lived here since 1959, so trust me on this one.

Sorry for picking on your spelling. I just couldn't help myself. A little dry humor, perhaps too dry for some tastes.

Cheers,
JR
