from the mopar forum:

the 4.7 has about the same usable power as the 5.7. if you drive one of each without knowing which engine it had you wouldn't be able to tell. the 4.7 makes all its torque low in the powerband where it is usable on the street. the 5.7 makes its power at high rpm where a street car does not need it. the 4.7 will get you better mileage. the 4.7 has less "normal" internal engine noise and overall have had less problems than the 5.7's.
