I decided to refinish the wheels myself.
What I thought was Anodize on one of the wheels was clear coat on polished lip.
I stripped the Clear Coat and with lots of elbow grease and testing different wire wheels and scrub-pads. (the final was a scrub pad used for restaurant flat top grills).
Not polished ... and the finish that I was after. I was so impressed with the GIBBS on my alt project I did finish the lip with Gibbs and, I am SO happy ..looks just like what I wanted.
Not sure if I will put a BBS or Porsche crest on the center cap ... I like the look as is ...
