tonight i went for a sunday night drive around town like i do almost every night. i was on a 4 lane road at a red light when i 928 S4 pulled next to me. (i was in a 2004 VW R32) and he rolled down his window and said nice car. i said thanks blah blah blah i have a '82 928S euro he said cool blah blah blah. then we both took off. i beat him off the line cause i had all wheel drive. his rears were just spinning like a mofo. i started to slow down at 80 cause the speed limit was 40mph or 45. (dont remember) then he creeped up about 10 feet from me then punched it again. he only got to where i could see his front tire in the driver window then i began to loose him again. then we got to another light and he asked "whats going on in there?' i told him it was all stock. (which it isnt cause i have a neuspeed short throw and a K&N drop in panel filter that goes in the OE box) but that stuff wouldnt really make a difference anyway except for shifting speed. K&N claims 3hp gain over stock. anyways.... then we both launched again only this time he hooked but it still wasnt much. in first gear he was ahead of me cause he had a really nice launch but by 2nd gear i was next to him and by 3rd i passed him. now i say all of this cause i hope my 928S euro will be faster than his S4 cause if its not, thats gonna be a dissapointment when i know i have a Porsche V8 Euro that can get spanked red by my 6 cylinder Volkswagen....
