My wife an I went this past January.

We had a big breakfast outside before entering.
We had lots of snacks and drinks.

Going in the off season was the only way we could have tolerated the experience.
We went mid week between two rainstorms. The lines were pretty short and we rode/saw everything we wanted.

Yes, parking and admission is expensive. Think about it this way, where else can you see or enjoy that many things in one place?

For the two of us it set us back about $200.

Never go on a weekend or school vacation/summer ( unless you enjoy waiting in long lines )
