When I switched from factory H pipe and cats on my Mustang to an X and modern cats the tires started breaking loose in first and second when I hit about 4000 rpm. Some of that was cats, some was the X, but the X on a Mustang due to the tranny being right behind the motor isn't at an optimal location like you can get with a 928.
I've got a locally made Y on my 85 Euro, and plan on giving a shot at improving it.
