wow. lots of good info here. thanks everyone. she did good today... only one accident... but i'm still not sure she's ready. she won't tell us that she has to go... we have to ask her literally every 5 minutes. if she answers a quick "no" then she doesn't. if she doesn't answer or thinks about it, then it's a yes. she never says "yes" or tells us first. she's not fighting it, so i guess we'll keep it up and see how it goes. she also has a baby sister (8mos), and we tell her that she's a "big kid". she likes that. so she says, "i'm a big kid...baby's go in diapers...big kids go on the potty." i know she's young, but i think she's on the right track... or i'm just deliousional!
